Granderoho offers a fresh opinion, and to those who would slight her for it, it's there loss. New to the forum as of 12/31/07, she was banned from 1up for a month for have alternate accounts.[1][2]
Granderoho likes how Street Fighter IV is getting back to the offensive goodness, and how theres no more punch em' in the **** and backup ability and how this game is getting more western with the look being not as anime as SF3 and the online, she cant wait.[3]
Not opposed to memes, Granderoho is thinking of making her avatar "Don't Troll Me Bro." Most probly won't find that funny but whatever, she just wants to talk about SF4, and wants to know: do you guys think the charecter models are to big in this game, because she thinks they made them a little to big.[4]
Granderoho believes there no uglier than the previous street fighters, and that was the orginal point of the game. From backgrounds to the models of the character models, to the overall story, everything is supposed to be overdone. Street Fighter is the Burnout of fighting games, and the look of the character models show in the style of the game. Each character is ment to be a dramatic representation of that type of fighter, Sagat being that Thai kickboxer and Guile being the special forces charecter so on and so fourth.[5]
According to Granderoho the creators of SF don't like to say it, but SF2 was really an arcade game made soley for the american market. The charecters were over the top and americanized, and because of this this game had major success in the states. When SF3 was made, it was made in japan, for a japanese market and it had more anime style charecters, the character were really small compared to SF2 which alot of people didnt like. The game was also more defensive, and less offensive. Now SF4 is trying to get back to the orginal SF2 american style with more offensive gameplay, non-anime looking characters and online gameplay(this is a feature that mostly western audiences want in there games).[6]
You can say that this isn't true, but you can also say the sky isn't blue either but that just wouldnt be truth, look SF2 was the most popular game of the series regardless of what one thinks and thats why there making the characters look more like they did in SF2. Also alot of people think there ugly, there not ugly the models are just in 3d now so there not going to look the same.[7]
Granderoho hasn't played SF4 yet so she can't say that it's not going to be as good as 3S/Alpha 2/SSF2T, but she doesn't make prosumptions on games she hasn't played.[8]
Granderoho thinks the game looks amazing, they are overdoing the character models but the overall animations look amazing and are better than anyother fighting games animations she's seen yet. To say there using Fighter Maker to make this game is upsurd, and the character models will be refined and all you fans that are pissed off will shut your mouths when they show this game at E3. Its still in the planning stages, theyve only made 3 full working character models so far, and the models they've made aren't even all the way done. She thinks you guys need to be optimistic instead of pesamistic about this game, and realise that this is a full on HD sequeal the greatest arcade brawler ever.[9]
On other subjects, Granderoho seems less sure. For instance, she does not know if Contra is owned by Nintendo or Konami.[10]
Granderoho is apparently from both the past and future since she is waiting for Steam to finish the PS3 version of Orange Box a month after its release[11] while at the same time playing N+ a full two months before its street date[12]. Perhaps it would not be prosumptious to think Granderoho lives in an alternate reality, one where Joust Williams still posts on TNL.[13][14]
Granderoho really has given up on trying to please faggots like the people on TNL, Granderoho could care less what everyone says in her Wiki. Granderoho believes everyone should go right ahead and do their worst.[15]
