Neomega

Neomega was founded by andyrose and originally meant to be an epic 2D rpg in the mold of Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana. However the game never materialized due to lack of anybody knowing what the hell they were doing, and the name came to signify only the game's website and message board. The board ended up being a community for people either too e-feeble to withstand the emotional rigors of TNL, or kicked out of it. Neomega proved to be a useful repository for discarded TNL members such as EThugg, giving them a place to stay without annoying the important people. This fact created the feeling that there was a TNL vs. Neomega rivalary, although no such animosity actually existed. The site eventually disappeared after andyrose didn't pay the bills several years ago. Got-Next's message board hoped to pick up some of Neomega's then-stranded traffic, however nobody posts there so they re all presumed dead.
Neomega has recently resumed operations as a forum, though this time it employs the gimmick of having the most annoying, wretched forum design of all-time. However, no one is bothered by the Commodore64-inspired layout as no one goes there.
