• Steam's Daily Wishlist Giveaway

That's it. Now you're really spoiled.

When I order merchandise online, it's usually from Amazon.com. This holiday season, however, I've ordered from a couple of other large online stores (household names), and I am finding that the service is poor by comparison. Amazon is just the best at what it does.

Now if you're a gamer, there's another company that probably spoils you rotten: Valve. But Valve takes it outrageously overboard with its Steam platform. Sale after sale. 50% off; 66% off; 90% off. And the service, the interface, the whole experience is exceptional. Check out the PC threads on our forums and you'll see what I'm talking about. Almost nobody makes as many of us happy on a consistent basis as the folks behind Steam.

So how can this possibly be better? Don't worry about jinxing it by asking the question, since Valve already has an answer.

Starting today and continuing "into the holiday season," you can win the top ten games on your Steam wishlist. You need a Steam account and at least ten games on your list, of course. Beyond that, you will need to visit the featured daily deal page every day you want to enter the giveaway (today's deal is Terraria at 75% savings - or, as I like to think of it, 75% free).

Oh yeah, there will be ten winners each day. Steam is like the rich aunt you couldn't possibly compete with that is slowly stealing your kids.

You can get started with Steam at http://store.steampowered.com.
