New copies for the Wii on the way.
If you thought you missed your chance to snag a new copy of
Super Mario All-Stars for the Wii at a decent price, you'll be happy to know Nintendo is giving you another shot next month.
The collection, an update of the classic 1993 Super Nintendo cartridge, features
Super Mario Bros. 1,
2, and
3, and
Lost Levels, initially a Japan-only sequel to
Super Mario Bros.. The Wii version includes a 32-page booklet with behind-the-scenes information/artwork. The package was put out in celebration of the series' 25th anniversary.
The re-release will be identical to the package that sold out so very quickly this past Christmas season, and will presumably retail for the same price: $29.99.
