You would absolutely appreciate it! It's one of those games that's perfect to play after a long day; it's very warm and good-natured throughout.

When does Bravely Default become a slog, and is it as bad as I keep reading? I'm about 15 hours in right now and so far it's been utterly brilliant. The soundtrack is the best I've heard since Nier, the storybook graphics are honestly prettier than anything I've played on the Vita and Edea and Ringabel are the best SE characters ever. I don't want the honeymoon to end. ;_;

I always wanted to play Popolocrois but never got too far into it! I actually ordered another PSP copy a while ago when the Harvest Moon x Popo game was announced!

According to people who really like SaGa, it's a SaGa in everything but name and Kawazu.

Tomomi Kobayashi's artwork for Legend of Legacy is (typically) beautiful. I love Filmia's design.

Is the game supposed to be SaGa-esque?

i don't know if AmiAmi will let me hotlink, but i sure like some of the weird KanColle designs. I think it'd be something i could get into, even though it's a browser game.



Also i ordered Legend of Legacy from AmiAmi and i'm pretty excited, even if i won't be able to understand most of the dialog! I'll probably make a topic about that.

Yeah, i played the Vita version. It's really nice! They might just make an actual good Neptunia game yet.

It made going back to Etrian 3 really difficult.

So I'm about ten hours into Persona Q now, and I strongly suspect this game is completely ruining the mainline Etrian Odyssey games for me. I think it's ruining the Persona series for me, too.

Theatrhythm is the greatest thing, by the way. I bought it along with Persona Q and have been totally hooked. Fran is SO CUTE.

If the Steel Assault thread is any indication, you're probably right. I think the Yume Nikki thread I created got like 8 or 9 replies and all of them amounted to "this looks stupid."

Meanwhile, the Destiny thread has a zillion replies.

I think Twilight Princess is the darkest game behind Majora's Mask. MM is just overwhelmingly creepy and weird, and TP is very bittersweet and sad throughout. Midna's reveal at the end, entering the Temple of Time for the first time and that second fight with King Bulblin on the Great Bridge of Hylia are still really fresh in my memory. And man...speaking with the ghost of Queen Rutela (while that beautiful rendition of the Serenade of Water plays) was one of the most emotionally poignant moments in the entire franchise, and it's not even a set piece scene. Way more "adult" than I was used to from a Zelda game, if that makes sense. The last ten hours were such a slog, though, and have kept me from picking it up again.





I'm almost through A Link Between Worlds (which is wonderful) and am going to play through Ocarina 3D next in preparation for Majora's Mask 3D. I'm surprised at how much I've missed Zelda! I talk about it a lot, but I really do need to get a Wii U; perhaps this summer once I've got my credit cards paid off I'll reward myself with one. Hyrule Warriors looks so neat, and I'd love to play through Wind Waker again.

I go through long stretches of time where I don't have Intendo systems and when I finally get a new one I gorge on all the games I missed and wonder why I bother with other consoles. I still love their first party games as much as I did when I was a kid.
