For reasons beyond my knowledge or explanation I attacked retail work today with a pace that I haven't felt in many days. There were picks a plenty and I simply went from one to the next without issue and pulling product down left and right. Inventory is supposedly coming in June (though it's supposed to be every 10 months and it was June last year), and for audits they want an extra step taken for verification. I appreciate their desire to have everything in shape before inventory hits, but it's pretty safe to say that any work done from now until late April at earliest will not be in place in June. Everything will simply have shifted by then. The oldest date on a label of product that I picked today was October 24, and the majority of items were printed within the last week. Any special work we do now simply won't be there at that distant point of the future. Oh well.

I'm diving my head into the world of cryptocurrency and seeing how it all works. I had an idea which, naturally, has sort of already been done, but it's not quite in the same way that I envisioned and seems to be inoperational now. Perhaps I should continue my research.

Songs were pretty good today. There were a few particularly cold work days last week where I played the game with two shirts on, which is something that I usually never did - but I didn't seem to suffer at those points before. The work shirt came off after the second song today, though, and whether it was that or the usual two-song shaky opening coming and going, who knows for sure.
