It's Saturday again? Phew.

I was specifically asked to come in for a sixth this week, so I did. Unlike other times, I did have a full shift come in doing it, so that should translate to a good check. For the day off, I switched things up a bit in order to go to the arcade early in the day rather than the usual night time visit. The wait between rounds was too long for my liking last week, so I correctly assumed that nobody would bother being there at opening time instead. To do this in a reasonable way, I had no choice but to come home and immediately sleep for a few hours as a nap, then resume the day. I only managed to have two hours on the nap before my body decided that it had enough, so I don't think I came to the arcade feeling particularly refreshed or in an ideal state of mind. But I can't say I mind too much in light of being able to actually continuously play the game the entire time.

Well, gee, that's a lot of talk about silly shit, isn't it. I guess I really can't offer much else at the moment, though. About the only other thing of note is how my Japanese study plods on, and some days it feels like I'm making long strides, and others it feels like all my progress has vanished. To expound beyond that would take a lot of words to say little. Even more so than usual.

Home sessions haven't been too bad for the most. Mosaic came up again and had the disastrous result which I feared would come about after getting that high new record on the previous play. This exemplifies one reason why I avoid grinding songs out - it makes subsequent replays feel that much worse. Otherwise, it is water rolled off the back. Yep, that play sucked really badly. Yes it did. Move on.
