He pointed out to me that he noticed that I never work the sixth day at the job. Yes, I don't. I've found that the job pushes my physical tolerance to its limits, as stated here repeatedly before.

It's been several years since I've handled a new computer for personal use at home, and I had forgotten the sensation of starting off fresh and getting old programs downloaded for the first time and all the rest of fun with the initialization. As it turns out, it's been convenient for me to have the old 21" CRT in the desk area, since the PC only had the video output for the old style of cord and the converters I had on hand for the newer monitors didn't work for whatever reason. Sure enough, after it was all done, I opened the closet up to put other things away and there was an unused monitor cord which I could have used instead right off the bat. Oh well.

I did also manage to go out and be social again this week. The timing was fortunate for the end of his spring break to come with the first of my days off. I was able to lay the idea out to him in the process of driving. We have some gears moving there I think. I do have some plans set in place for things to do once I have the other preliminary work done, which the new PC is showing that it all should be plausible to do.

There is company over this weekend. They spent two hours in construction traffic to park for attending the convention today. I wonder how the rest of the day will play out now.

Songs. This week's home sessions were thankfully better than previous weeks, although of course I also have an apprehensive feeling about new records when they go far beyond what I would normally expect. Can anyone explain why I had an 8% jump on Tomorrow Perfume here? I can't. This illustrates the issue to have with it too - from here on out, can I expect future plays to always be 5% off or more until I have another flash of insight? There's a few charts I know of with similar spikes, and it serves as a reminder as to why I don't grind songs like the actually good people do with this game. Arcade session wasn't too bad, though I didn't have as much time as normal due to having my friend with me there.
