Nothing says Happy Monday like putting a gash in your truck. Was there fallout from it? Oh yes, there was. A lot of talking. A substantial amount of talking. There'll be a garnishment but I still stay employed there. For now. Yay.

One more week where I can't let it go. Well, it's not like it wasn't without some attempts to make a kind of progress on things. I did send out messages and emails to a few people, and I made a few calls. The direct responses were limited (albeit the ones which were made to me were indeed helpful, so I am grateful for that), and there was a response phone call which I think I missed while I was out mowing the lawn. Overall, the response isn't particularly good if I'm looking to outsource the development of this project. I think I will have to do it by myself. In making this realization, I've come to think about different ways to get the ball rolling instead of trying to fully realize my vision and continue to never get anywhere while mulling about in trying to get some actual progress made.

The online website which I've used for a few years now to learn Japanese had its certificate expire this Thursday morning, so now I shouldn't use it at all unless I want to risk having my password and associated email address exposed to whoever is possibly listening. I wouldn't think there are too many people who are doing so, but it only takes one exposure for everything to go downhill in a hurry. Considering it hasn't been resolved in three days, I wonder how many other people are actually going to the site at all.

Songs. I'm mostly done with the latest (and should prove to be final) batch of songs to unlock at the arcade. I think I have one more to go. It appears there might be one other song to get which doesn't appear in the listing I have, but, long story short, I'm not exactly sure about what I'm supposed to do to get it, and given that it hasn't become evident already, I'm willing to believe it's some sort of thing which is only available to Japanese paseli supporters, so I'd be locked out of it regardless if that is the case. It wouldn't be the first time. As with last week, the process is better suited for me playing easier charts, which is just as well because I wasn't doing very well with the more difficult songs at all this time. I had many fails on 11s which I have cleared before, and I couldn't sightread clear the other 11s which I unlocked this visit. Oh well. Home sessions are pretty good this week. I don't understand the dramatic jump with Dstorv, other than it being the second play, but still it was only a week ago.
