It took a few hours of trial and error to finally get a NoteTab Pro script to do what I wanted it to do, and I'm not especially happy with the script becoming a giant pile of redundant If clauses to get it done, but it does indeed work as I had hoped. For the much cleaner version I envision, the script would have to simply recognize variable values inserted into other variable names and operate from there, and I did get a few test lines to do exactly that otherwise, so I don't understand why I wasn't able to get that same concept to apply to the desired task. Still, it will only be used on relatively small lists of text and performs quickly enough anyway so I suppose that will suffice for now.

Let it be said that you will get people sending you mail about a trademark once you file it. Those proceedings are indeed public and other people and firms do indeed regularly inspect them in hopes of getting new business. All in the hustle.

Songs. Home sessions have been very strong this week, with a lot of records being more than a 1% jump and many of them not having inflated miss counts as well. This week's arcade trip was with my wife as we tended to other specialized shopping beforehand, so I wasn't able to do much of anything there other than play the weekly set, and that's fine. While we were there, we had the time for her to try out Magician's Dead and the Disney Tsum Tsum game. The former she was rather impressed with, and the latter is a pretty insidious structure of addiction with an ultra cutesy Disney facade. I've heard about the game before and felt more inclined to try it than I normally would have in seeing that it is a Konami game, so it uses the eamuse card which I have. After subsequently trying out the mobile version on the Ipad at home, I think it's safe to say that it serves as a very well crafted diversion but is entirely too random to take seriously, and the fact that it's a game where scores do ultimately depend on the amount of time spent grinding out plays is ultimately what I think prevents it from being a high caliber game. I can't fault it for its design (particularly since the physical object collection aspect makes it great fodder for ebay selling), though I can't help but wonder what would compel a person to actually pour additional money into it on a continuous basis.
