Today is a very rare Saturday night off, which I have taken for a relative's birthday party. She was talking about it months in advance, and I think carried distinct recollection of me not being there last year. It turned out well for us to be there this year. We arrived as cake was served and most of the people who weren't immediate family were leaving, and we were able to enjoy some time in the pool afterwards. Theoretically, after playing songs after writing this post, I could have some time to play the newly arrived Dragon Quest 11.

I'll make mention of my starting an Instagram account here, but I don't think anyone who is actually human and reading this would be a person who hasn't already read about it elsewhere. Still, it's noteworthy for me personally and probably something I should have started a long time ago.

Songs. Some parts of my hands and fingers have felt more sore lately than normal. I'm rather concerned about it. The weekly arcade session started weak but turned out to be good overall. I unlocked and sight-read cleared three songs. That was nice.
