Had to meet up with some family members earlier today for a dinner, and in the process I had two pints of Guinness. Alcohol doesn't mix well with this game at all, so I'm not expecting anything spectacular here.

Nice run. I'm pretty sure I only had the A14 of Himiko, unless I downgraded it. Survey says ... I haven't. So I'm probably right, and I probably should do so to prevent that from happening again. Overall, the Random roll was rather fortunate through most of this and I had nice strings through New Castle Legions at least, and Himiko being the sedate version of the chart didn't give me a lot of trouble. If anything, I didn't play Unicorn Tail nor Least 100 Sec. to my best ability, but did well enough to not get too behind on misses or bad timing.

Honestly, playing didn't feel too terrible overall. The DP selection for BOF05 is depressingly small and I've already started to get into 06 at the end there. 06 has several songs which are familiar banes to my warmup course routine. To end things, I'm still working on making a good five song course to showcase the game to people. I'm trying to keep the variety of genres, tempo, and composers fully distinct between the choices. I also want the charts to be those which I can play reasonably well and look impressive when played well. So far I think I'm settled on Radical Faith, Red by Full Metal Jacket, Thunder, and The Last Striker; the main question is which fifth song to choose and what the proper order is, other than Last Striker being last.
