So very tired, again. Always on the weekends.
Everything old is old again.

starmine, leathal weapon, caudaemorducus, canon blazing summer mix, 4bidden area
Rather boring course in considering how often these songs come up - other than Leathal Weapon, at least. Very easy Random with Starmine helped me be able to combo out the majority of the song, at least the latter half of it. Lethal Weapon's main issue are the sixteenth scale runs which weren't particularly bad here. I'm very tired of rolling out Caudaemorducus and might have to relegate it to instant-flush status for a while. I should do the same for Canon considering how easy that chart is no matter what Random does to it. My left arm has been sore through most of the day and I felt rather drained by the time 4bidden came around, which is a shame because that's yet another chart which doesn't have a lot of really bad parts to it other than some terrible scratch chords that can come around when randomized. End score isn't bad but should be expected from a set like this.
BOF06 and EX Mode. Hopefully I remember to write out the grades each time, which I'm not used to doing with new entries.
I think what these sessions are helping me come to realize is that there always has been something about the fanmade songs which seemed like they weren't so well made as the sim files from the official IIDX games, and I think this is showing me why. Where the IIDX songs feature background tracks which have more content automatically played, there's less chance for it to be played at fractionally segregated times and feels more cohesive. In comparison, damn near everything in these songs are mapped to some sort of disconnected sound, which means that there is more reliance on the player and the program to ensure that everything is played at the exact correct time. I think the amateurs could stand to learn a lesson in exerting effort to make a point to have the BGM carry some parts of the song rather than fundamentally none of it. Well, that's if they consider making palatable music to begin with, which in some cases seems to also elude their understanding. That Mah-Jong song there is some of the worst garbage I've heard in a long time.Code:ex pgr gr go b p p/f nc onc %+ date dripping blood 2294 0645 1004 0884 0687 1744 F 4605 1584 190.71 2012-03-05T02:01:37:525Z D -776 extinction & rep B14 1960 0557 0846 0904 0629 1411 F 4001 2032 096.89 2012-03-05T02:05:24:688Z D -707 full of tears (oka) 1882 0666 0550 0139 0035 0155 F 1466 0923 058.82 2012-03-05T02:09:00:254Z A -72 mah-jong moge mix R 2458 0806 0846 0497 0279 0949 F 3026 0848 256.83 2012-03-05T02:14:55:243Z C -231 pcm anniversary 2474 0762 0950 0535 0219 0694 F 2915 1211 140.71 2012-03-05T02:20:12:779Z C -117 regeneration 1527 0590 0347 0237 0063 0150 F 1308 0689 089.84 2012-03-05T02:25:02:274Z A -217 saffron beach driving R 2276 0857 0562 0091 0051 0181 F 1639 1048 056.39 2012-03-05T02:27:53:106Z AA - 273 sequence of life 1592 0556 0480 0508 0290 0701 F 2230 1125 098.22 2012-03-05T02:32:58:936Z C -390 shaking shaking 1739 0674 0391 0074 0026 0085 F 1212 0831 045.84 2012-03-05T02:36:22:309Z AA -146 shine of eidos 2088 0808 0472 0209 0038 0212 F 1639 0613 167.37 2012-03-05T02:40:26:786Z A -97 sunny shiny ring 2030 0695 0640 0224 0089 0299 F 1767 1764 000.17 2012-03-05T02:44:02:472Z A -325 superbug 2107 0811 0485 0039 0009 0048 F 1370 1307 004.82 2012-03-05T02:49:39:750Z AA -24 there is no telling 2308 0817 0674 0180 0097 0293 F 1947 1103 076.51 2012-03-05T02:53:57:378Z A -288 ting ting 2072 0643 0786 0615 0410 1214 F 3220 0914 252.97 2012-03-05T03:00:32:812Z D -74 tricks 1946 0536 0874 0812 0497 1576 F 3900 1382 182.19 2012-03-05T03:03:39:090Z D -654 zodiac 1807 0586 0635 0437 0351 0977 F 2665 1424 087.14 2012-03-05T03:28:05:147Z C -561 VIP~飛べない俺はただのクマー~ 3779 1083 1613 1124 0719 1566 F 5513 2583 113.43 2012-03-05T03:09:08:290Z C -1121
