Strong words. Believe me, I take human life VERY seriously, but I can understand someone doing it if they say, have some mental illness. More pity than anything else.

Suicide is not cowardly in every situation. Like suicide bombers... I have more respect for them than the lot of you... why the fuck do any of you care if someone decides their life isn't worth living? Just because yours is, or so you tell yourself, doesn't mean it is for everyone.
Here here.
It has never cross my mind, plus I heard that if you kill yourself, you're going Hell.
Antidepressants aren't the only solution. There are plenty of medicine-free treatments to depression like cognitive therapy, hypnotherapy, counselling and naturopathic solutions. And if you ever have a problem with the doctor treating you for a problem, you can find another doctor who you get along with on better terms. In medicine, as with any field of service provision, there are plenty of different service providers available, and you have the right to shop around until satisfied with the person you're dealing with.Quote:

I'm pretty sure it was a cry for help sort of thing. She took 40 pain killers, but she told someone about it before they could really fuck her up. A few more hours, though, and she wouldn't be alive.
I'm going to talk it over with her, I think she'll be ok. She said she did it because she was doing bad in basketball, and because she was questioning her religion. Those are some pretty stupid things to attempt suicide over.
I'd be inclined to agree. They may not be the only reasons for it, though. Talking it through with her and making her realise she is important to those close to her are likely to do more good than anything else. Good luck, andy.
Good luck Andy.
