Mario Party eCards
According to Gaming-Age, the newest Nintendo retailer catalogue mentions an upcoming set of Mario Party cards for the e-Reader. It seems these cards will contain multiplayer mini-games. Presumably the games are small enough to be sent from one GBA/e-Reader combo to other GBAs, just like a "single-cart" multiplayer GBA game.
It's currently not known how many players these games will support. Multiplayer card games aren't even feasible on the original Japanese e-Reader model; a pass-thru port for the link cable was added for the American and subsequent worldwide releases.
No release dates or prices are mentioned in Gaming-Age's article, so stay tuned for further info.
that's not cool. i mean, these games should be in there from the beginning. i wouldn't mind if it's like Animal Crossing were the cards actually expand the game, not unlock stuff. i don't own the game, and don't plan on buying it anytime soon. still, looks like im gonna buy these once i get the game.

am i reading this the wrong way or something? from what i read these don't unlock minigames in mario party 4. you use those cards via a link cable to link with other GBAs for multiplayer minigame goodness! if thats the case then i might shell out cash for an e-card reader!

shit, maybe i misread that. well, if that's the case, how big can these games possibly be? maybe they'll be Game&Watch type of games.

Yeah, I read that, and I agree with Mikhal.
