Ahah, I was thinking/hoping for a bit of irony. Is Timeline good?

Timeline is excellent. I've been a Crichton fan for about 10 years now and Timeline just didn't interest me, but a friend told me it was great, so I checked it out. Lo and behold; it's awesome.
I like A Wrinkle in Time, does that count?Quote:

Just remembered, I finished Choke a couple weeks ago. Interesting, though most of it was written about stuff I don't like very much. The whole sex addicts thing was pretty damn hysterical, though.
The last book I read was Halo: The Fall of Reach
I thought it explained nicely who the heck it is inside that cybernetic suit. Also influenced me enough to cry when I saw what happened to Captain Keys:(
Last book read: Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson.
Thompson finding his voice as a writer. Excellent. I love the chapter devoted to tracing the lineage of the Hell's Angels back to the Linkhorns.
It should be...Dirty Dances with Wolves ??Quote:

The guy who directed Glory is directing it. They're aiming at a Dances with Wolves but with Samurai. You don't think of good dramatic actor when you think of Kevin Costner, but he did fine with DwW....
A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain. And I need to get around to finishing Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. I stopped halfway through even though it's great.
Check out George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones and the books onward. I don't think that series has a name. They're VERY good.Quote:

A Song of Ice and Fire. ;)
These are my favorite fantasy books, and A Storm of Swords may be my favorite book of all time.
