Actually, four is just about right for any game mode, considering that's the number of players a single voice channel is limited to.

Yeah, it was really cool once I figured out what the hell to do. hahahaaha I liked that ALOT better then just Deathmatch. I will be back on to play some more of that Bombing run. Very fun stuff. Thanks for the description when I didn't have a god damn clue. I was improving right away. Soon I'll be good enough to contribute. hahahahaha Later.
Yeah, BR had me pretty lost at first, too. That Rapier (Aslen) guy was wicked -- me and him took a bunch of short-handed matches after you left. Only lost one match (5 on 2) in overtime on that huge ice map.
Still, bombing run + instagib = bliss.
That sun of a bitch was damn nasty! I was thankful when he was on my team and hating life when he wasn't. He has an amazingly acurate shot. I must play more. I hate feeling like a minor league player. BTW, what is instagib?

Instagib is a modifier that limits players to the shock rifle and primary (laser) fire only. But if you connect = instant kill.
I'll take this moment just to reiterate a couple important points:
- Unreal Championship is still awesome.
- I'm lonely :(
Mode... is there an Unlagged mode? I love Insta/Unlagged in Quake 3.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by unlagged, so I'm guessing no.
Unlagged means you don't have to adjust for ping in in your shots... and it should be a facet of any game that features instagib.

Ah-ha. The term was so straightforward that I figured there had to be more to it than that.
Instagib matches are the smoothest you'll come across -- even the slower servers tend to be quite slick when it comes to instagib. Where things get ugly is instances where you've got a bunch of people in one room tossing flak and god-knows-what-else around.
That's my favorite game-type... in the war stoies thread I detailed a CTF match in Insta/Unlagged.
