That was pretty cool last night, but unfortunatly I was playing w/ Tonydoo at his place (he was Flamble), and his XBox kept crashing after every game:mad: So we bounced back and forth between NFL2k3 and Mech Assault most of the night.

Yeah, are you going to be playing Unreal Championship or Mech Assault tonight? I will, & my friend Brad will be over too, so I'll be on the lookout for you.

Wolf- Im not complaining that this is broadband only, Im just complaining about the fact that BB is not available where I live. My dad and I both want broadband it is just the fact that we cannot get DSL or Cable out here. If any of you know of some high speed internet that is more available than others feel free to fill me in. THere is nothing I would like more than to play on my XBOX and PS2 with you guys.

Also no one answered this before. In Grinder mode when playing two player when you die you remain as a little man that can walk around the screen. Is there anyway that you can enter a new mech or get in any vehicles like in Metal Combat that old SNES classic. Just wondering becasue that would be bad ass. Or if you had a rocket launcher and you could slowly chip away at big mechs in multiplayer if they couldnt find you.

Prometheus, I didn't take it as a complaint against the Xbox. :) I know how frustrating it is for some people to not have access to a cable modem. I was one of those people before last year. I'm just hoping the broadband provides will see this as an opportunity to expand the market and get their service to more places that don't have it.

As to your question on Grinder, I don't know, but I'd hazard a guess of no. All the mechs blow up good, and I've yet to see an empty one to jump into (the turning into an infantry guy was news to me).

I picked up Unreal Championship and I'll be playing that most of the day, and probably some Mech Assault later as well; I'm on the fence about buying the game (Steel Battalion is taking all my money), but I plan on playing some more split screen later w/ Tonydoo/Flamble.
