Sonic Team really have no excuses for not including Sonic CD, Chaotix and the first 2 Game Gear Sonics. The 'but we didn't develop them' excuse does not wash as Sonic 3D was done by Travellers' Tales and the Puyo Puyo clone design is ripped from Compile. Yeah that's a whole lot of useless bitching from me but it's odd that these Sonic games were missed off when irrelevent stuff like Ristar and Flicky are included.
Seems like Sonic CD always gets the shaft no matter what. Wasn't the intro movie and music in Sonic Jam as well?

I'm just happy I have Sonic CD for Sega CD. ;)
Still, you have to wonder why it's never included in these comps.... I just don't see the sense in it. I think the excuse this time was that it's not a Mega Drive game, but come on.. Mega CD is close enough. Same for Chaotix (a game I have never played and which would sell me on the game). Since fewer people played these two, you'd think their inclusion would boost sales too...

Chaotix is definitely a unique game. The tethered character system certainly keeps the game interesting from a gameplay perspective. Thanks for the confirmation, Sidez. Hell, I'll pick up Sonic Jam just for the 3D world.
Chaotix, along with Sonic CD, is a game I'd buy a compilation for. I just don't feel like buying hardware to play these games otherwise.Quote:

Chaotix was great, but only when played with a friend. Not only is it just plain fun to play a Sonic game with a friend (Especially one that forces co-operation), but it was just less frustrating.
They should have added the Sonic X-Treme beta for Sega Saturn! MWHAHAHA!
Hey, they put the Saturn Shenmue movie in Shenmue II, you never know what they'll do. Although treading water seems to be a popular Sega past-time as of late.
