For years I have been buying PC Gamer and occasionally other mags. However, PC Gamer seems to be slowly degrading in quality over the years. It's not usually worth the money for me to buy more than one PC games mag since the demos are often the same but I plan on switching to one other than PC Gamer.
Which do you guys recommend?
I haven't bought a PC magazine in years but PC Gamer used to be the Gamefan of PC magazines out of the ones I regularly got. That sucks to hear they are slowly going downhill
PC Gamer has been going downhill since they got that chump Rob Smith as EIC. He really is bad... the best mag is what used to be Computer Games Strategy Plus... now called Computer Games Magazine (quite simply). Its easily the best American game magazine.
Yeah, I would attribute most of PC Gamer's downfall to him, the console-bashing bastard.
I will be probably switching to Computer Games Magazine. I was skimming through one today and it seems like it has come a long way since the ones I read a few years back.
