Yep, call tech support and pray. My wireless NetGear router that I paid a dandy dime for still isn't working (and it's not like I'm trying to get Xbox through wireless or anything)...after speaking with both Netgear and Xbox Live reps for hours, Netgear finally admits that it won't work until they release a firmware upgrade to the router. ...and I'm still waiting for the ephemeral upgrade...
Right now I just switch the cables and direct connect the xbox, effectively booting everyone else on the network off.

UGH The plague has came my way. All of the sudden my router is now on the fritz. Before the 100 light was not on, but now it's on all of my connections and wont allow them to connect. The cable modem is working fine because that's how I'm posting now. Still pissy though. Anybody got any ideas?

Try powercycling your modem and/or router. Just shut the power for about a minute and retry it.
