The PS2 version has a piece of unlockable art for each character and worse-sounding sound effects. Other than that, it's the DC game.Quote:

I've heard the XBox game has 10% larger sprites. It's out in the UK of all places...
Marvel vs. Capcom 2.............didn't I already buy that 2 years ago???
I have never really been a big fan of the series. I liked the first one but the others never kept my attention. I think it might be time for this series to end. Heck I may rent it but there are too many other good games out there to bother buying it..
wEEman, yes you did. But since it's now on the PS2, the mainstream gamers can gush over it.
Jeremy I wasn't really asking a question but was making a sarcastic jibe. Your answer is appreciated regardless ;)Quote:

Sarcasm and the internet definitely don't go well together. :D
The only benefits I can see for releasing MvC2 on the PS2 are
1) To widen the game's previously barren audience by releasing it on the system with the greatest installed user base
2) To make more money for Capcom
3) To lower the price of the DC game ($40 for a "sealed" copy? I think not.)
However, for those with an Xbox there is absolutely no reason to purchase this game without online support.
I knew you were kidding man, I was trying to add to it. Damned faults with text communication.
Save the green ones for me.Quote:

...I'm just waiting for the "MvC2 sucks!" comments to start.
*pulls out a bag of Skittles*
Skittles, anyone?
That being said... Capcom should bring out a Street Fighter III on PS2 with all three games on one CD. :D Seriously. It may not be as popular as MVC2, but there are likely some people out there who enjoy SFIII but passed on the Dreamcast.

That sounds like a good idea right there.
