I don't read EGM, but GI, OXM and Play seem to be quite smitten.
Then again, Play likes fucking *everything*, but that's a discussion for another thread.
Play's review scores make mine look low. Now that just ain't right.
Yeah, but the best thing is that Play's reviews makes its scores look low, too.
"This is the best action game I've ever played. It's perfect. 3/5."
Is that why Jet Grind sold so well?Quote:

Kyo, ouch on the JGR remark. Just ouch. Great Play quote there, Burgundy.
Well I didn't mean to cause actual physical pain, just sayin', y'know?
Yes, yes. I understand.:) :o
Not to hijack, but my girlfriend is now considering a subscription to Play after watching me rip through basically every review by Halverson and Brady Fiechter in about an hour-and-a-half span. Keep in mind that I never really read GameFan and this was my first exposure to Play, but that I used to subscribe to NP and I currently subscribe to and tolerate GI. I was and still am in awe that these people get paid to write about games.
The art is fabulous, and I really like the layout. If I was illiterate, I'd be in heaven.
Let's see, many people are sega fanboys here and like this game...
I'm going to go with "What a great score!", as opposed to "Famitsu reviews mean jack shit and they suck monkey balls and would not know a good game if it bit them in the ass and they should just do away with numerical judgements, all those fucking jap bastards care about are From TV PS2 games and have 0 taste in good games!"
