Yeah, that's true. There are great little pizza joints all over Dallas, Brother's Pizza, which I've been going to since I was a little kid, has the best NY-style pizza in the city. There's this little Italian/Greek cafe in Medica City Dallas, a hospital of all places, that serves some downright tasty pizzas with loads of cheese. :)

Hell, I even dig Mr. Gatti's pizza more than Pizza Hut/Dominoe's. I love the grated cheese w/ spices packets that come with their pizzas, make them taste even better, and they're quite good to begin with :D

psh... everyone knows pizzeria pizza is FAR superior to Pizza Hut/Dominoes and to a lesser extent Papa Johns...

Pizzeria's also usually have some awesome strombolis and calzones

We used to have Brothers pizza down here in houston close to where i live - they were great as well with awesome thin big ass slices in a pizza over the counter type atmosphere - but then they sold out and moved to a more family oriented part of town (Katy) and opened up a family oriented restaurant and their pizza got shitty!

Franks Pizza and New York Pizzeria in Houston own!

I actually prefer to make my own pizzas, but there's no denying that Pizza Hut/Papa Johns can turn out some excellent pies at times.

only when you're extremely hungry do those pizzas taste good imo.

Chicago deep dish pizza destroys all pizza - pizzeria, frozen, delivery or otherwise.
