This is the time where a ton of stuff comes out and, knowing that I can't even get all that I want during summer, I know I won't get everything. Let alone even trying to get a few things on a tight budget is a bad idea. So, how do you game on a budget? Buy used? Force yourself to tear through your pile of shame? Refuse to read gaming sites or mags for fear of getting hyped about something?
just buy stuff now that can't wait, and wait until the rest gets much cheaper..
all it takes is patience.. simple.
I sit down and play something I haven't played in a while but meant to go back to, whilst counting the days towards a new purchase. It's hell.
I need a second job to support my habit.
I usually just buy older stuff. I don't remember the last time I bought a new game for $50, but I do recall several instances where I bought new games for 20-30 bucks. Used helps too, although I actually buy more new stuff now.
I normally play older stuff, or put a dent in the ole' pile of shame when I'm waiting for a new release.
Trade in shit. Borrow games from friends. Play with yourself.

I don't buy games anymore really, but that's going to change since I am now have joined the Gamecube Brotherhood and must build up my library. Nintendo is so stingy :lol:
I used to trade alot, but I regret it so much. You never know when you're gonna want to pop a game back in, not even to find anything new, just for old time's sake.
