It's the close of 2002. What are your canditates for Game of the Year?

This year, while not as enjoyable as last year (IMO), was a wonderful gaming year. We saw the release of not one, but TWO Metroid titles. Nintendo put the "fun" back in "gaming" with Super Mario Sunshine and Star Fox Adventure, not to mention Metroid Prime. Classics such as Rygar and Mortal Kombat were ressurected, and both delivered on all ends. It was certainly a memorable year in terms of announcements, as well. (GBA GC adapter, Square/Enix merge, etc). That said, here's my little list of GOTY contenders.

I bought Advance Wars on Boxing Day last year.

Ikaruga is game of the year.
