The first issue of the new Wildstorm Friday the 13th comic hit shelves yesterday. I have no idea how it is, as I am broke as fuck until next Friday.
Then again, it might be a good thing, considering how cruddy the others were. Yet I bought them all. Eh.

For those of you wary of buying the F13 boxset because of the price, be wary no more. Fye.com is selling the set for $25. That includes shipping, so you'll only end up paying about $33. I took advantage of that, seeing as I had to sell my original one due to a financial crisis.
Also picked up the new comic book the other day. 'S not too bad, except that they are mucking with the mythology all over again. According to the comic, over 150 kids have drowned in the lake, but Jason was the only one to come back. Plus, the spell the name Vorhees. There's two 'o's, dammit.

Wow, that's nice. Sometimes Bradstreet goes a little overboard with all the photo reference, but he's still amazing.
You know, I thought that first cover didn't look like vintage Bradstreet, but the site I got it from said it was his. I just took a second look at it and just noticed that it's signed "Sook". You have to admit, this Sook character seems to be ripping off Bradstreet's style so that explains my confusion. Oh, well.
BerringerX always likes to post pics of his new horror movie toys here, so I guess I will too. I just picked up the new MacReady dog kennel set from The Thing. It's pretty cool.
It doesn't really come across that well in the pic of his figure, but Kurt Russell's likeness is pretty spot-on.
Good to see that the Thing boxset turned out good. The other figures in that series apparently took a hit when SOTA underwent a managment change.
And hopefully the company will FINALLY get around to releasing the Land of the Dead figures.
Actually, on the back of The Thing box, it says they next assortment will include a Herbert West Re-Animator figure, which is a figure I've wanted for a while now. :tu:
