For anyone who has the new, awesome Io service from Cablevision; do you watch EP? I find that it's a pretty cool show. Although the reviews are basic, it's still fun watching a game channel(take THAT,MTV!!). Anyone else?

I watch it every week as I'm too lazy to download videos for new games. :p
It's a cool show. It'd be better if it were a hour. It always seems that by the time they get to the good stuff, the show's practically over.
Yeah, I hear ya. And their reviews, while basic, are really good. I agree with them all the time. Strange....
i watch it...it never has any ground breaking news or anything, but it is enjoyable for the most part. reviews are trust worthy, and some of the interviews are cool...i could think of worse ways to spend a 1/2 hour...
It sounds like Extended Play -- a TechTV show -- is being repeated on this Io thing. In other words, Cablevision (owned by Comcast, I think) is sharing TechTV properties with Io to get it going. Is Io an all-game channel?
I haven't watched EP in over a year, since my cable company moved tech tv over to digital cable, but yeah, I only watched the show for the game footage, everything else was worthless.
Too bad Adam Sessler's reviews are so padded and 'safe' that it sounds like it could come from anyone. Maybe if they were longer, the show could move past that. Or they could always do more game footage.
Ive watched this show since it started.. the reviews are generally spot on and I agree with another persons statement in that I wish it was an hour long...
I agree with Regus. I watched for the footage only. That Adam guy is super super super annoying - as is his taste in games... and some of the inconspicable things he says.Quote:

I love the show. I constantly scan the guide looking for when it shows. I agree more with Sessler's reviews than I have anyone else's.
