ARCADIA magazine picture feature

I've done little Arcadia magazine threads before describing what exactly is inside... But it was a tad bit boring because I was never able to SHOW what I was talking about. Well, I finally have some sample page images to show.

And poster samples, too.

Articles!

The articles are fun to simply look over... Great game artwork covers each page... There are always nice screens to admire... The layout is quite swift in each issue.

Fan art!

Fan art litters the entire magazine... Sometimes there are pages dedicated to pieces, and sometimes fan artwork goes right alongside the related game features.

Sometimes there is a black and white official artwork feature in the back of the magazine... The latest spread featured HotDIII:

Perhaps the most exciting part about getting Arcadia is the posters... They're always a nice treat.

Well, that's about it, I guess. All of the magazine images are from the latest issue. If you want more samples, I'll gladly take some more pictures.

But can you actually read anything or do you get it for the sweet posters and art work? :)

The artwork, the screens, the spreads, the posters, the overall just-plain-coolness... That's why I buy it. So no, I can't exactly read it and enjoy it for the game info.

Looks like they charge MSRP yen price, which is 780 for the mag.

For EMS mail (2-3 days), it's 1500 yen => 2280 total. ($19)
For Airmail (3-8 days), it's 960 yen => 1740 total. ($14.60)
For SAL (2-3 weeks), it's 580 yen => 1360 total. ($11.40)
For Sea (3-4 weeks), it's 430 yen => 1210 total. ($10.15)

Doesn't appear as though they offer subscriptions. Though buying just one issue at a time racks up some high shipping charges.
