I was at my local TRU today, browsing through the Power Rangers Ninja Storm section when I decided to take a trip over to the "R Zone." Browsing up and down the isles, I came upon the XBOX arangement, and to my suprise, Nesmix (or Nesumikusu, or Sneakers, or Have a Mice Day) had been released!...with a fatty-fat "R Zone Exclusive!!!" stamped right on the cover.
Inspite of the weirdness MS decided to pull here, I bought it, as I've been waiting for a domestic release since I had knowlege of the JP version.
Got it home, unwrapped it, hilarity ensued. Not horribly complicated, but challenging none the less, the mice and rats are all beautifully rendered (the fur shading is the best I've seen yet...outside of Monsters Inc.).
You're given a set amount of time to find and scare off all the rats in any given level. You find and scare all of the rats of a particular color and they band together and make a ruckus, forcing you and your gang of less-than-likely buddies to bloody their cutesy, little mouse noses. Simple no? Add in hidden exits to rooms, rats that like to hide from you, and interactive scenery, and you're pretty much well informed.
I played through only the first level today (Gauntlet: Dark Legacy was calling my name), but I love what I've played.
Anyone else pick this up?
Sorry if there's a thread on this already. I did a search and came up with nothing recent, so I figured I was safe. ;)
