I'm not trying to play tough I'm just trying to keep it simple. I didn't set this threat up to have to sift through snide remarks and shots at my integrity (your "jokes"), I set it up to get opinions of the topic. If ya wanna make jokes about that go right ahead but leave me personally out of 'em, thats all I ask.

Read some other topics on the boards. There isn't one that doesn't have some amount of side-tracking.
I honestly don't think anyone -- including myself -- meant you any malice. Lighten up, or someone else will probably choose to exploit your touchy attitude.
As for the holidays.. I like them, but being off work for two weeks is annoying -- I'm hourly, so no pay for me...
Considering the statements you've made and tone you've set, I don't know what else you could honestly expect of these people.

Why do think you need to be offensive right off the bat? Does it establish you as that oh-so-conformist 'rebellious' attitude that's its own hypocricy? I mean, come on...people here think I'm easy to jump on someone for something small, and even I think how your behaving is silly. They're making jokes, not putting you in your place. If it was someone who was here for years making the same spelling mistakes, they'd make the same jabs. Big deal.
Not to mention, if you're so worried about someone putting you in your place over a message board, you might want to consider finding other things to be obsessive about. Then again, I've just met you, so...
Heres a question. Why isn't there just a say whatever the fuck you want thread. I mean people are just gona do it anyway so why isn't there just one big thread we you can just go in there and say what ever you want. I think that would help a lot cause it would seprate the people who just wanna mouth off from those who want to talk about something specific.
Also, Lhadatt, I could sit here and try to explain to you that I do not have a touchy attitude but I won't waste my time because telling someone they are touchy makes it so. You obviously take what I say out of context which I can't blame you for, you'd have to know me to be able to understand, but now you think I'm touchy so I guess thats how it's gona be.
