Yeah, it's definitely The One True Sol Divide. The EBWorld write-up is utterly without clue, which doesn't really come as a surprise.

Thanks for the heads-up, James! I'm all about supporting these niche budget PS1 releases. *places order at EB.com*
Well, I just got back from EB.
Chibi Nappa: Sol Divide +1
Now, does anybody know where I can find that other recent $10 PS shmup? Gekio Shooting King or whatever it's called. I can't find it anywhere.
The only place I've ever seen it (and they did stock a healthy amount) was at Toys R Us. I'm guessing this is a middle-America release so look around at Wal Mart, Toys R Us, Comp USA...Quote:

Thanks. I will try all of those places.
My local Toys R Us had about 10 copies of the game in the budget title section.Quote:

Bling bling.
Edit: Note the 3-5 week availability time. Looks dodgy.
Gamestop's online store also has Gekioh in stock:

Wow, how'd I miss Gekioh Shooting King? There was probably a thread on it and everything, I think I'm slipping.
I blame the holidays. I'm only just recovering from working retail, my brain is getting less frazzled by the day. :)

Gekioh is a great little shmup for a measly $10. Of course, since I live in the backyard of Bumfuk Egypt, I had to go to the opposite side of the island (about a 2 1/2 hour drive) to get the only copy Babbages had left (yes, it's still Babbages. I told you we were slow).
I would have simply bought it from Gamestop.com but they can sit on a cactus and rotate for all I care. $15 shipping? Screw that.
