December Reader Review Winners Announced
Another Reader Review Contest has drawn to a close, and now it is time to announce the winners.
The Grand Prize - Dr. Muto for the PlayStation 2, a Dr. Muto-themed universal remote for TV, DVD, VCR, satellite, and audio systems, and the all-new Everquest: Planes of Power for the PC - goes to Mamoscott for his eminently enjoyable review of Metroid Prime.
The two First Prizes - winner's choice of Everquest: Planes of Power, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance for the PS2 or GameCube, or Rocky for the PS2 - were awarded to Wolffen's review of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and omfgninjas' stunningly perceptive treatment of Shenmue II.
Second Prize - Zapper: One Wicked Cricket for Game Boy Advance - went to three winners: tkirk for Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Orochi for Metroid Prime, and NGEFreek for Robotech: the Macross Saga.
In addition, everyone who entered but was not listed above - namely Jeremy, Rich, Masters, Frogacuda, and Yamcha - will receive our heartfelt thanks and encouragement. Oh, yeah, and a $10 gift card to his choice of Electronics Boutique or GameStop.
Thanks for everyone for contributing reviews and comments. The Reader Review contest will continue to get bigger as we get more support and entries, so look for some sweet rewards in the coming months. Remember, we are just getting started.
