let's play the "who has the most spam in their mailbox?" game

Staring tonight at midnight, 1/10/03, I will have my email inbox cleared for a week's long collection of spam. A week later we will post our results and see who gets the most spam.

I guess we could also turn this into a "What's the most interesting message you've ever received?" From what I can remember, mine was, Click here for dirty sluts sucking horse c**k! :confused:

For the record, I've use Yahoo! mail. I've used it for years. It kind of does matter doesn't it? AOL users typically get more? We'll see.

Well, I don't get ANY yahoo spam, and I don't use AOL. I'm going to put my money on my hotmail account but I may have just defeated myself, since I put a shitload of email addys on my blocked list.

My spammage has decreased significantly since I did that. I think that about 4 months ago, I would have had you beat even before you started :)

I had 9 spam mails this time. If I didn't use MailWasher, there'd probably be a junkload more.

Don't you hate it when an email's title is vague like "Registration information", "Congratulations on your 6 new signups", etc?

Tomorrow, I'll be keeping track of my weekly total. It probably won't be me who gets the highest overall total... thank goodness for the Block List.

Just go to your e-mail options in your Hotmail account, if you have one, and turn off all spam filters. For most all of us, it wouldn't take a day for the storage space to fill up.
