I agree that the naysayers are way too harsh. The character is a little goofy, but the presentation looks quite solid. In fact, the demos I saw suggest a very polished game (which is surprising, given that games with multiple, long delays usually end up as ass fodder).
Problem: I now find even polished 3D adventure/platformers to be rather boring, and don't wind up playing them all the way through. Oh well, I'm sure it's me.

played the demo, I was sleeping 2 minutes in.

Played this on the XBOX demo disk and I was later going to play the NEw Indiana Jones Game only to find out that I had mistaken my Vexx Demo disk for a piece of toilet paper and had wiped my ass with this putrid disk containing this horrible game. Amazingly the disk still played when I popped it back into my XBOX so I di get to play Indiana after all.

I played through Mario Sunshine, Sly Cooper, R&C, and J&D, so I'm a bit of a platforming whore. However, 45 seconds of the Vexx Xbox demo was enough for me. The game sucks ass.

Man, you guys are harsh. What's your problem with it? Okay, both the camera and the character designs are the worst in platforming game history, but I thought the fighting part kicked ass, the levels were fun, and the enemies were pretty cool.
I wouldn't buy it at full price, but for $20 I'd consider it at least.
