Frik! I forgot all about that nifty little deal... Thanks for the reminder, 88.
Or... What about that Kodak deal in which they upload your photos online... Does that only apply to Advantix photos?

-To view some pictures I finally got back. More soon.
Nothing personal... but they just look like blurry pictures.
Whats so special abut this camera?
Yea, most of those are shit. I agree. The skyline pictures are junky because this camera wasn't really meant to do long distance [still] shots like that in the dark. The lights on the buildings are magnified so everything turns out looking like a smeared canvas.
But some shots are meant to have a blurred effect... Such as these taken in a moving car:

The lens is what really makes the camera what it is. http://shop.lomography.com/lca/ The way the camera calculates light in the surrounding area is pretty unique... Check out the link to read what I mean.
Sometimes you never quite know what you'll get...

I've always wanted a LOMO. I've been ogling the pictures on the Lomography website for some time now.
... i still don't get it...
you can do the same thing with a normal camera... my friend does it all the time, he gets good results during lightning storms
Agreed... maybe I'm not looking close enough, but it just looks like a normal everyday slow shutter speed.Quote:

LOMO is as much a philosophy as it is a camera. "Don't think, just shoot."

I love the name of the Camera.... Lomo... you know, in Cantonese, it means "Your mother" (which is a curse)!
