"By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one," she said. Yeah, 2 big revalations yesterday. 2 female betrayals, one especially surprising. Just went against all what they made you think. Makes you want to find out more.

Great scene with Jack and Nina. He pretty much says Fuck you to her.Shoot me now, you will be dead. And you can see the fear on her face.

It went pretty much as I expected, with sniper brought in, to disarm/kill her. Was surprised why President was still so nice to her, and didnt arrest her, even though what she did was a crime, involving taking a hostage and planning a murder. I guess they want to keep her in the game longer.

President Wife's betrayal is less shocking, since I suspected her already. Wouldnt President little bit surprised by her "knowledge" when just after few minutes of discovering secret OPCOM channel, she comes in and give all the info about it? Like how would she know that, if no one else knows about? Whats are her "sources" she keeps mentioning.

I really HATE FOX though, since they taking a fucking break, and there wont be any new eps till February 4th. Who gives a fuck about American Idol 2 ???

I think the best episode of the season so far would have to be the one where you find out Carla was killed. A little blood, a shoot-out scene, all nicely done.

That said, I don't think this season has been as good as the first. There are way too many plotlines that intrude on the good ones (Jack Bauer's and the President's), and what could've been a memorable gunfight - the one where the plane just crashed and Bauer had that rifle against the Americans - kept on getting interrupted by a bunch of other scenes. Annoying. Also, nearly woman is blonde and nearly every woman is colossally stupid. Writers' commentary?

I had an inkling that fiancée would be the bad guy but I figured she was too stupid too shitty an actor for it to be true.

Oh yeah, I love it how almost every major character of minority ethnicity dies in the show. I knew the CTU bodyguard was going to die and I'm sure that that Asian CTU agent would've died if he had more lines.

But I really wish I recorded the episode since they played the Beetle commercial with the ELO song...

What surprises me, that they seem to abandon the plotline of Abusive Husband/killer. Havent seen him, or even any mention of him since, the episode when Bauers daughter and boyfriend got the girld out of the hospital, and later got arrested. Whe is the guy?

I though action scenes were pretty good, and I liked Jack&Nina VS Hit Team fight. Very tactical and intense.

They also havent mentioned Bomb in the Truck, ever since the 3 terroris stooges incident, that left 2 of them dead.

How bount all the footage of Jacks daughter running around ;)

I saw the entire season 1 DVD set in about 30 hours. Most addicting thing ever made. And season 2 is even better! I simply can't belive this is a Fox made for TV movie. It's better than any major theater release by a mile!

Oh yeah, as soon as that fiance chick came into the room all lovey-dovey, I knew something was up. ;)

Yeah. Overall, not as wholly high energy as the previous episode, but, the 2 shocks had me by surprise:

I was thinking, that Palmer's wife either wanted him back, or wanted to really screw him over (and was setting up 1 or more of the President's aides), but man...working with that guy. Out there.

Yeah, they do play really well off each other. I thought they might snipe her, but, that scene was kinda odd. Did they shoot the gun outta her hand or something?

Also, even if she killed Jack, she never got a pardon killing Fahim on the plane. Hah!

Yeah, agree on that one. Killing Nina would be a massive mistake. I'm kinda expecting the last 2 mins to be Jack and Her, just like Season 1 was Jack and his wife. Could be the money shot of the series. Man...that alone would be worth 58 minutes of shit, even though the show is never bad.

Yeah, dunno what, but, I'm thinking it will either get revelead when he's alone with her later in the series, or not at all. Whatever it was, he put the fear into her, and it was clear to see that she's freaked out by what he said.

Good call. I was wondering why he does not just say "If you want to stay, tell me your sources" or whatnot. I dunno, D, remember like last season, where she tried to set him up to sleep with his assistant and he knew it all along, perhaps he's playing dumb and knows more about her than he lets on.

Yeah. I think I might just get my mom to tape them (she loves the show too), and then watch like 3 or 4 in bulk in a weekend.

Then again, I can't wait 7 weeks or so to watch it.

Jack's daughter is the most tainted piece of poon ever, btw. Any guy that shows interest in her is arrested or something. Nice jiggle tho.

Yeah, that was odd, but, I was thinking that she might have slipped Reiza something from her purse, and that he was going to destroy the files and then they both leave.

Her doing what she did was just shocking.

That's 2 weeks of great plot twists, "I want a pardon for the murder of Jack Bauer" and that.

The president's the man! And he's been the man since he appeared in season 1. I'm sure he knows what's up, or at least suspects something.


Ummmm.... Are there really no more episodes until American Idol is done? I might just have to put myself in a cryogenic sleep chamber for a few weeks if that is true. The pain! :mad:

Also, I watched preview of next ep, and they have older daugher going undercover into mosque to look for Al Sayed. And torture of Stanton guy by President men, I assume. Should be interesting to see.

for anyone who likes twin peaks and 24, which one do you like better? i have not seen 24 and my favorite show of all time is twin peaks, so i may have to see about this 24 first season dvd set.
