Just saw a movie someone gave to me...

"The Player" is it's name... Has anyone else seen it? I never heard of it until some gave it to me....

It's an odd dark Comedy about a Paranoid movie executive (Tim Robbins), Who is getting death threats from a disgruntled screenwriter. It's set in hollywood in well, 1992, and is basicly suppose to be real life (Tons of star Cameos), And a 8 minute opening continuous tracking shot which is quite good. The story is great, and takes a few twists and turns. some parts are really funny, and others I think are only supposed to be gotten by certain people. But all in all, it has some really funny parts. Also, the ending is about as good as it gets! Highly recomended.
