I remember quiting Boy Scouts because they moved the Simpsons to Thursdays. Greatest tv show ever.
-
I'm all about Futurama now. I forgot how damn funny this series is. Fox fucked this show over so bad it's frighting. Cartoon Network 11pm Sunday-Thursday! Watch it!
If CN picks up Family Guy, it may be my favorite channel.

Too bad Simpsons hasn't been funny in years.

I love both Simpsons and Futurama. Both have some great comedy pieces and characters. I'm trying to catch more of Futurama eps, since its on Cartoon Networks, since I missed most of them, when they were on Fox, thanks to stupid time slot placement.

I watch re-runs of the Simpsons everyday from 5:30 to 6:30, it's one of the funniest shows ever. They really need to end it though, it really has been bad as of late.

The Simpsons (TV): FOX News reports that the Murdoch-owned network has announced that it will renew the cartoon for two more seasons taking it through till at least May 2005. That's a total of sixteen seasons and as a result will push past "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" to become the all-time longest-running situation comedy. Unlike previous years, there was no major fight or debate over the salaries for the voice actors or other disputes - "There was a general sense in the creative part of the group that things were chugging along creatively. You don't have the drama that you've had with other programs" says Fox Entertainment President Gail Berman. Thanks to 'DJDave'.

I think season 10 is around the time it started going downhill. Now I love the series, but my biggest complaint(s) are as follows:
They are really running out of stuff to do. The plots get more far fetched and lame, leading to a lot fewer memorable episodes. I don't think we've gotten a real classic episode in quite awhile.
And here's what annoys the hell out of me the most: The god awful endings. Time and time again, they have to resort to some cop out ending that makes no sense of all. They basicly write the episode to a point where they can't figure out how to end the episode. So the show ends up ending abruptly with no even remotely realistic conclusion.
