Yea, the music is definitely far superior in this one... I always put on some alternate music when I play DDP, but I think that won't be happening here...

But I think DDP's announcer might reign supreme.

They seem to have radically changed the game's music to something more poppy and techno-like instead of the original cheesy rock tunes. I like it!
Plus the audio is of a much higher quality as well.

Are all of the stores that are offering preorders selling it for the same price?

OK I just saw that last 40MB video thanks to the roommates DSL, and all I can say is....hell yes. That boss with the two blue flaming things looks just plain nasty.

Tonic - NCS has it up for $60. I haven't seen any others with the game up for pre-order.

There are certainly a ton of beastly criss-cross patterns in this one [ex: see Stage 3 boss pattern, final boss pattern.]

Sounds as though they're using arranged tunes for that video. And that they're not nearly as good as the originals. Hopefully optional, that.
