I think a list of great sword clanging movies is in order.
I know the movies:
-Conan the Barbarian
-LOTR (et al)
-Excalibur
-Ran
and maybe Braveheart
are all good for this list. Anyone have anything to add? I seriously need more to add to this presitigous list. Gladiator doesn't count.
Sparticus does though.. that's another.

I should add Korean film Musa(Warrior) to the list. Excellent and high scale production, it tells the story about band of Chinese and Korean warriors in 12th Century China, and their fight with Mongolian Horde, to bring Chinese Princes back home. Great and extremely violent battles, lots of heroics, and good performances by the cast.
The Patriot, Glory, ehrm...ah....
Sorry, I missed the "sword" part....
Well.. those are two very good movies anyway. Especially Glory.

Well, since he mentioned these smaller scale battles (Versus didn't really have epic-scale battles, but cool nonetheless), I would add that awesome fight in Drunken Master 2 in the restaraunt with just Chan and Lau Kar Leung versus the Axe Gang--truly awesome...Quote:
