Burg, you just performed public service. You'll likely be thrown out of law school for that. At the very least, you're now fucked when you apply for your bar exam. :p

No one's being charged anything for ZOoT, so that logic still makes no sense.Quote:

I would imagine that there's a "Not for Resale" label on the discs, or at least the packaging. Wouldn't that make it kind of illegal to sell them separately? If that was the case.
Oh, and Cybr, if you don't mind, I'm going to drive a Mack truck through some of your logic gaps right now.
I feel sorry for the poor sap who actualy pays $70 for the bonus disc.
You may continue to "assume" that Amazon made up the price all by themselves in a vaccuum. You may "assume" that they get the item for free whether or not they order copies of Wind Waker with them or not - when in fact they may actually have to pay a different price (meaning more than $0) for non-bundled copies. I actually emailed Amazon to ask why they priced them at $70 separately rather than just "assume" they were price gouging).
I pre-ordered it so I'm just curious.
Let me get this straight, your assumption is more valid than anyone else's?
The bonus disc is only available as a *bonus* from Nintendo with purchases of TWW. There is no legit separate retail copy. There is no other explanation. Whatever excuse you get back from Amazon is horseshit, and if you believe it, I have some magical beans I can sell you for an excellent price.Quote:

So then how is this legal?Quote:

Wahoo, my "Not for resale" theory was correct. Yay me. Knowing Nintendo, if they find out about this, they'll throw a hissy fit. If they'll go after Blockbuster for rentals, they'll damn sure go after Amazon for selling something they aren't supposed to.
Because I'm not sure that selling items marked "not for retail sale" is illegal. It may, however, piss consumers off, and it sure as hell won't make the manufacturer very happy.
I'm sure shady sites (Buy-Rite?) have been or will be selling the bonus disc separately. I'm just surprised that Amazon is doing it.
