Bam was supposed to be porting it over, but I haven't heard anything in awhile and Bam has been in financial trouble lately. This is supposed to be a great wrestling game.

Last I heard, they won't be bringing it over.
Well that sucks:(
Bastards!
Yep. I doubt it would sell well with the puroresu grapplers, which would have been the judge and jury on the subject.
I think Fire Pro Advanced sold well though, can somebody dig up some number of sorts on it?
Firepro ACE (not advanced) did fairly well in the U.S. I'd imagine. It did see a U.S. sequel after all.
It's always foolish to hope for domestic releases of this kind of thing. Even if they do come out, they'll be horribly neutered, since developers (especially small ones like BAM) are too lazy to translate the stuff that's text intensive, which is usually the coolest parts of the game.
Case in point, Firepro Aces only real advancement over the first one was that it had "Management Mode" which allowed you to run your own wrestling promotion, and raid talent rosters, and stuff like that. The only other things it got were like, 5 new moves, and a few random new wrestlers. Of course, BAM was too lazy to include management mode in the US version, so there was almost no point whatsoever for me to buy it.
True, but it's still sitting on my shelf. I'll always support Fire Pro in the states, if the last one sells well there will always be another. And maybe next time they won't butcher it so much.Quote:

Both this and the next Fire Pro games were intially said to be getting released here...but not they're not correct?
Korly, Firepro Ace was the first GBA one. Final Firepro Wrestling was neutered as FPW 2 here.
