That was a tad bone-chilling, I really hope the EPA bit isn't another attempt by the Bush admin. to lax eniviromental policies on businesses.

I wouldn't get too excited about it just yet.
Between the war and the economy the Administration will have enough of its plate without adding controversial new homeland security legislation. Besides, a draft of possible legislation is often just that -- a draft. I haven't heard anyone else break this news, so it might just the product of some overenthusiastic folks at Justice.
Let's hope you're right about this never seeing the light of day. I'm not an optimist, though.
