DSL Connection issues - HELP!

I can't apply for SBC Yahoo as I indicated in another thread, so I was wondering among those of you playing - who is in the state of CT and could recommend an alternative. I know a lot of ISPs are documented by Microsoft as actually being compatible, though they hint of others which could potentially work.

Most of the popular ones aren't available in my area, satellite isn't a compatible source. Which leaves VERY limited options.

I really don't want to sit around until June just to use SBC Yahoo's service :(

I use Adelphia cable service but they limit your upload speed, otherwise thier not to bad.

I'm not sure what area your in, optimum online is very good but what is your cable provider? I don't know too many other DSL services other then SBC though, I will see if I can find out more for you :)

I forget what my provider is in New London. It seems CT gets the short end of the stick mainly in the New London area. :mad:

I know what you mean, up to last year Derby was on a A/B cable system, we got upgraded to digital now though... guess that is what happens when you live in the smallest city in the state :)

Your way over in south eastern Connecticut, but not too far from the casino's though ;)
