Well since Square moved to GBA I don't care, plus it is much easier to find GBA games then WonderSwan games since hardly anyone carries them... but there where some good games on WonderSwan :)
According to Gamefront, Final Fantasy 3 is still on for Wonderswan.
Wonderswan's biggest sellers were Bandai anime properties like One Piece and Gundam. There's a few goodies like Run=Dim, Bubble Bobble, Megaman, Ghosts and Goblins (any good?), and Starhearts.
A decent little portable, I'm interested if the Wonderwitch competitions will continue despite the system being retired? *-neo
I wouldn't mind trying out the Capcom stuff (Rock Man Exe fo'sheezy) and the Square stuff.
The desire to try them isn't so great that I feel the urge to track down a WS and any of the games though...
the only thing that kept me kinda interested in the WS was all those digimon games.
I was tempted to buy a Final Fantasy package Wonderswan for the awesome Amano artwork but then I realized it would be a waste of money since I wouldn't even be able to play the game.
That's where the FF Origins games are taken from, no? Sounds like good fodder for a rumor. "Psst - did you hear that Final Fantasy Collection is coming to PSX this fall? It's got FF3 and Secret of Mana on it."Quote:

I certainly hope that if the FFIII remake is still on, it's not for the WSC. I mean, I'd like to see the game have a chance of being released in the US, and with somewhat less jacked-up music than it would have on the WSC.
It sucks that another handheld is drying up in the face of the GameBoy line, but after Squaresoft announced support for the GBA, did anyone here really continue being interested in the WSC? Unless you really like Bandai games, I guess.
actually the best selling game on the system was the first FF, judging from my careful perusal of the dengeki ranking for the past forever.
that system is as dead as xbox, so it's no surprise.
