GAW! Tough Question, but I picked shooters over all; that is games in which you run round (or fly) and shoot and kill. I suppose that overly simplistic description includes "action" games as well, but it doesn't matter because I know what a "shooter" is generally considered to be and I like those the best anyways.
What can I say, I like to shoot.
I chose action, becuase it's such a broad genre.^__^
I'll go with adventure, since tons of game styles can fit under that billing.
Forgot platformer, which is my favorite. I also like FPS a lot so I stuck with that. You don't have that category but you have shooter which I'm guessing is all the shooting titles combined (2 and 3 dimensional)
Platforming fits under action usually.Quote:

Survival Horror should be included in adventure. Would've freed up room for Sports (which could include racing.) And we put strategy under puzzle.. voila, 7 genres. :)
I voted for shooter.
Shooter. Second would be adventure. There are just a lot more good shooters than adventures games (like Shenmue).
I like it when games mix genres. Out of non-mixed, my favorites are 2d platformers and first-person shooters. So Action is my pick from that list.
Im an RPG fanatic... I'm only happy if i have an RPG waiting for me... I'm really messed up though because I play weird games Like Harvest Moon to fill the void when there are no Good NEW RPG's for me to play...
Arcade Sports games
Beat them all
SLG/RPG- console style RPGs + PC style adventure games. I went to PC gaming in the early 90s because of the amount of rpgs on it, but they were a bit different than I expected. The adventure games were exactly what I was looking for though~
