Heh, just realized that's what your old avatar was Sidez. I had a brief "Treasure fan" phase quite a while ago, but realized that they weren't quite what they're cracked up to be. Alien Soldier's too pricey to take a chance on, plus it's not even a shooter. ;]
I still would like to play Guardian Heroes one day though.
Has this turned into an Alien Soldier bashing thread yet? Someone tell me when it does, so I can play too.

I've played the rom quite a bit & I would say that it really is one of the better run & gun action games I have played. Keep in mind that it is Treasure we are talking about so it is a boss-fest. Great game, but I couldn't see dropping a lot of cash on it.
Guardian heroes is totally worth it. Great game, & since you import almost eveything else, you look into getting the japanese version, which is usually a good deal cheaper than the US release.

Random OT statement: Everblue 2 is fun.
Alien Soldier is by far the best run and gun game ever. The sheer speed and technique required is amazing. Makes the SNES look quite silly. I'll always be a Treasure fan, they simply make the best action games around.
