Oh hell yes! One of the two reasons I originally bought my PS finally returns! TVG has a few screens, and this baby is being built around online. :D That makes me happy.
The second one wasn't as good as the first but still fun, and there doesn't seem to be any listing for the developer. It's not Reflections, but I hope it ends up good. I remember wasting hours in the crash bowls trying to steer my car just right so that it would get propelled hundreds of feet in the air. Good times.
This game might just be enough to make me take the plunge into online gaming. I loved the first two DD games, and other demolition derby games, and I'll probably love them more online.
Woo hoo! Now is it going to be tightly constructed, like DD1, or crappy and gimmicky, like DD2?
I still have that amazing Next Generation cover from before it came out hidden around here someplace... I love the old cardboard PS1 case, too...
I love the character designs in the first DD. There was one dude who looked like a big, fat version of Butt-head. Add I loved DD 2's gimmicks, that and the fast loading times and amazing graphics (which still hold up pretty well today, well, the car graphics do anyway.)
