Mac users who've been eagerly awaiting to get a taste of <i>EverQuest</i> can now head over to Station.com to enroll in the first Mac beta test.

If I was a Mac user, I'd be really angry at Verant/Sony right now. Mac users are kept separated from the main PC EQ community; they're forced to play on their own servers, and you're not allowed to move characters from the PC servers to the Mac servers. Verant/Sony claim they're doing this to make things fairer on the Mac users, yet they conveniently ignore the fact that they keep pressing for new subscribers on the PC front by packaging the original game with the expansions. Personally, I wouldn't have gotten into the game as much as I would have if I didn't have a "mentor" who was already an extremely high-level character.
I seriously think Verant needs to pull their heads out of their asses and allow PC users and Mac users to comingle.
